1) But can't my employer try to change it to unrestricted before that? no he cannot, the CoS has now been used, but what would be the point anyway and what advantage do you think you could gain if it were possible? Once you are in the UK the conditions of your leave are identical irrespective of whether you had a restricted or unrestricted CoS.
2) Or if I find another job now, can't my new employer grant me an unrestricted one? on a change of employment it will be unrestricted CoS.
3) And may I ask to give a link to the regulation document where all this is stipulated?
