I am seeking advise on following -

If a person has 2 entry clearance, one while entering in UK in 2009 and other in 2011 while switching the job then does it affect the ILR?

If people remember there was short time rule in 2011 where people were unable to switch from ICT to Tier2 G and they had to travel to home country for entry clearance. Now in such case if person completes 5 years (assuming all criteria met like salary requirement etc) is he/she able to file ILR.

-Thanks
What are the dates and what were the grants for?

Entry clearance is, by definition, for entering the UK. Switching jobs when in the UK is just changing immigration status.

send an email asking the question to:
SettlementOpsPolicy@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
and provide the precise dates and your immigration status for all periods of leave since you first arrived in the UK. State that you only left the UK because at the time it was not possible to switch in-country.

They usually reply fairly promptly.
