Extension of leave using form T2(W)

Post by Guruprasath » Sun Nov 18, 2012 7:00 pm

Hi, I am on Tier2 ICT - short term visa and my visa expires by March next year. However my client is ready to keep me beyond March next year...Is there any way I can extend my stay in UK beyond March?

I read through "Extension of leave using form T2(W)" will this help me in anyways?

Pls advice. If there is some way to extend...I can force my employer to do the needful.

Thank you.

T2 ICT Short Term Staff are granted leave for max. 12 months after which they must leave the UK. The only way you can then return without being subject to the 12 month cooling-off period is in the T2 ICT Long Term Staff category.

So the cooling period doesnt apply fo for r my case? Can u pls confirm? it only doesn't apply if you return to your home country and apply for entry clearance in the T2 ICT Long Term Staff category from there. Note that in this category the salary has to be at least £40k or the min. stated for the job SOC code, whichever the higher.
