UK NARIC letter for English language eeligibility for wife

Post by allgo » Mon Nov 19, 2012 10:41 pm

Hi friends
I am planning to apply for my wife's ILR dependent visa after I get ILR.
She came in on Tier -1 dependent visa and did not need to give any english language eligibility proof.
Now as she will be dependent of person settled in the UK she needs a proof of the same and I am planning to go for NARIC letter for her degree.

I went through the NARIC site for English Language assessment
https://www.naric.org.uk/naric/individu ... sment.aspx

Among the things it asks to send, the 2nd requirement what can one send as "evidence of the medium of instruction of your study".

Isn't that the whole purpose of the NARIC english eligibity letter?

She has the degree certificate and Transcripts and her degree is detected as acceptable in the PBS calculator as well. Also the reason I want to go this route is to avoid taking any English Language test, and instead get her degree confirmed as being in English by NARIC.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Regards
