Hi guys,
I have been visiting this forum from a vaery long time now and want to post my story here.
Me and my wife (Romanian national) married in the last week of october. Our marriage ceremoney went well without any interference from UKBA, which I was expecting, LOL, I even made provision for them in the official guest list, was a dissapointment when nobody showed up
Anyways, i submitted my application on the last day of october, which was recieved by the Bulgarian and romanian case working team on the 1st of Novemeber. I applied using form BR5. No COA yet I applied on the basis of my wife being a self-sufficient person since November 2010.
The documents I submitted were as follows:
-- 3 Months bank statements for myself, showing a closing balance of more than 3 thousand pounds.
-- Health insurance cover for both of us, from Aviva.
-- Our marriage certificate
-- My passport and passport sized photographs
-- My wife's Romanian temporary passport, Romanian ID card and UK provisional driving license.
-- My wife's divorce certificate for a previous marriage.
A covering letter stating my immigration history and the facts surrounding our relationship. My immigration history is good, i never overstayed my visa and originally came here on a student visa, which was valid on the date I made my application. The facts surrounding our relationship are simple, we intended to explain UKBA that my wife has legal custody of her son from previous marriage. My step son, does not currently lives with us in UK, but he lives in spain with my mum-in-law. We intended to explain UKBA that we want to bring him to us as he is only 4 years old!!!
The age Gap beetween my wife and myself is just to years.
If I see this from the point of UKBA, then everything seems to be fine here and there should be no trouble with this application, or would there be?
Any advice would be much appreciated and yessss!!! I was looking for people who have gone through the same route, the BR5 route!!!
Cheers and god bless you all.
