PSW to Tier2 General

Post by srihere » Tue Nov 20, 2012 7:57 am

Hi Manci,

Please can you advice minimum salary under particular SOC will taken into consideration if switching from PSW to Tier2? My salary is £24000 will come under SOC 2126, 2129 or 2122

But employer confirmed salary does not consider if switching from PSW to Tier2 General. Is this true?

And if my employer issue COS under 2122, what will be the criteria to prove that I am new graduate. Please kindly can you advice as soon as possible. Thanks in advance

And if my employer issue COS under 2122, what will be the criteria to prove that I am new graduate. When did you actually graduate?

Hi Manci, many thanks for your reply.

I am graduate automotive engineer working 37(1/2) hrs week for 24K. Will this be ok for my work?

I graduated on may 2010 and got job on Jan 2012. Shifted to sponsorship company on November2012.

thanks for your reply again

PSW to Tier 2

Hi Manci,

No work since May2010 to Jan2012. Worked unofficially (free) for my university to gain experience. By considering this did I met basic requirement for 2122 or 2129 as graduate automotive engineer with salary 24000?

Thank you

IMHO since this is the first year after graduation that you are working in your profession you would be considered a new graduate.

only your employer and you can decide if SOC code 2122 is a good fit, see the description on page 3:
