I think you may need to clarify the question, aniya.

If you are simply asking how to get married in Hong Kong, then presumably the HK marriage authorities are the best people to ask.

If you are asking about living in the UK following your marriage to a British citizen, then Leaflet INF 4 on the UKVisas website would be a good starting point.

in depth

hello there..thankx for ur reply..basically i came to uk in 2003 with BNO passport as a visitor with my mom who is a british citizen and brother who is also bno passport holder ..
.and i was 16 then..
we had the 6 months visa because we had BNO passport...before the 6 months finish we applied for british citizenship with the help of a solicitor..
u can call it bad luck that our choice of solicitor wasnt good....by the time home office replied to our case i turned 18... and our case kept rejecting ,...we lost the appeal too just coz i turned 18 n the solicitors neglection..

one more point to add that my parents separated in 2003 when we were in uk...
then it came to 2006...we tried going to IAS for help but i was told i can't become british citizen coz my father is pakistani and according to PAkistan laws ..i still have a pakistani nationality even though i dont have the passport...u see...

and for my brother's case ...it was getting no attention because his case was dependant on mine ...we were advised by IAS then we should separate his case as he is still under 18...

I met someone this year and want to marry him ..however we are confuse about the rules for marriage..do I have to back to hong kong to get married to him? What exactly do I have to do ..to be a legal partner basically…

And for my brother ‘s case …my mom is still working hard to show that she can support him… I would like to know under what citizenship should he be applying for..indefinite leave or british citizenship..???

Iu would appreciate if u can help me out in this..i know it sounds very confusing u can ask me further question if it helps.

Many thankx..merry chritmas and a happy new year..
aniya
