The Decision
You state that you wish to visit your son and daughter law in the UK, and while I note you have
submitted copy of a passport and Residence Permit in the name Saraswathi Raman.
You have provided no evidence of your relationship to this person, or evidence your son’s status
in the UK. In order to assess your intentions in the UK , I must consider your personal circumstances
and I note that you have not submitted satisfactory evidence your personal and financial
circumstances. You state that you are financially supported by your son and daughter in Law
however you have provided no evidence of this claimed financial support.
I note you have submitted bank statements your and in late husband's names (Indian Bank
Accounts XXX2008 XXX1985 & respectively), however neither account shows any evidence of withdrawals to meet your living expenses in India.
You have provided no other evidence how your day to day expenses are met. In light of this lack of evidence of your financial circumstances and
commitments, and because you have immediate and extended family in the United Kingdom on
whom you claim to be wholly financially dependent ,I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the
UK at the end of your visit or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor for a period not
exceeding 6 months(Paragraph 41(i) (ii) HC 395 as amended).
I have therefore refused your application because I am not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities,
that you meet all of the requirements of relevant Paragraph of the United of Kingdom immigration
Rules.
