ILR for applications few months less than 10 years

I have tried to search this forum to see if I can get any member who applied for ILR few months before the 10 years completes.
I have been here for 9 years and 8 months, and have exhausted all other means to renew my students visa.
I want to know if anyone has applied for ILR based on 10 years residence while he is yet few months away.
