Hi all,
There has been so many different types of work visa / permit and I am so confused.
Basically if I have got a job offer in the UK, does it have to be the list of shortage occupations in order for the employer to be qualified to apply for sponsorship certificate for me to get the work permit / visa?
Or if the salary is between 25000 and 40000GBP per year, then the job does not have to be on the list of shortage occupations, the applicant can get a temporary work permit valid for one year only?
If the salary is over 40000GBP per year, again it does not have to be on the list of shortage occupations, then the applicant can get a longer term work visa, but it has to be less than 5 years? Is this the case?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you
