Appointment confirmation

Hi All,

As you know the appointment booking system is terrible. Sometimes you book the appointment but nothing will be shown in your account and you only get emails which is fine. But if you want to cancel such appointment you have to call UKBA as there is no way to cancel it online!

one of my friend booked an appointment last night wrongly and he wants to cancel it but it is not appeared in his account. He called the UKBA but the appointment line is now closed !!! They told him the lines are only open for five minutes each day at 9:00AM. Has anyone had such experience?

It is a new arrangement?
