switching employers

Post by SHILPA123 » Mon Nov 26, 2012 3:23 pm

Hello,

I am currently on a tier 2 general visa which expires in March 2013

I am switching employers within the UK. I can apply by post, but the trouble is it can take upto 14 weeks and by this time my current employer will need to apply for an extension.

So, if I have been assigned a new COS by my new employers, if my current employers want to apply for an extension can they still do so? will they find out that I am trying to switch

Please advice.

Regards

shilpa

IF you have made an application to switch job, your passport will any ways be with them so you cant apply again.

You cannot be assigned a new COS if you have already been assigned a CoS and it has not been used i.e. it is LIVE.

Please advice.
