Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 1 (E) - apply before 12.12.12

After 12th December 2012 it will no longer be possible to switch in country from a Tier 4 student visa to Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) unless you are backed by a recognized VC or one of the other sources eligible for the reduced (£50k) investment.

If you are a Tier 4 student and want to rely on £200k of your own, or provided by a friend / bank / angel investor, you must

EITHER: Apply before 12th December 2012

OR: Return home and apply for entry clearance from abroad
