Question about showing proof of maintenance? Please help.

Post by HazzaKay7 » Tue Nov 27, 2012 9:38 am

Hey guys,

If you pay school fees upfront for the whole year, does that still mean you have to show proof of funds in form of bank statements etc?

I know full well that if you haven't paid fees yet the visa officer wants to make sure you comply with the requirements of the school. However, if you go ahead and pay all your fees before you join the school, and this appears on the CAS, then is showing proof of funds still required or not?

Thanks,
Harry Kay.

The embassy requirement for Tier-4 is FirstYearFee + £7200/£9000.

If you have paid first year fee in advance and have confirmed CAS, you still need to show £7200 for outside London or £9000 for inside London as maintenance for 28 days.
