Dependent on WP, set(m)or set(o) for ILR?

Post by Priyakumarh » Tue Nov 27, 2012 1:20 pm

Hello all,

Date of entry into uk : 03 jan 2008
Visa : visa to acc spouse/cp

My husband received his ILR brp today. We want to apply for my ILR now. What form should I use? I was under the impression that I had to use set(m). We called the ukba helpline and got told that it will be set(o). Then again we got told that it will be flr(m).

Please can I have an urgent response, we are seriously short of time, my visa expires on 04-dec-2012

You need to provide more details to get the right answer:

What was your husband's VISA type before his ILR?

On which category did he apply for ILR?
Feb 2012 - Spouse Visa - New Delhi
Mar 2012 - Documents collected - VISA Granted
March 2014 - ILR Granted
Apr 2015 - Applied for Naturalisation
Nov 2015 - Naturalised

Hello, thank you for this, but I am still confused. I am not covered by the PBS system and I was never on tier 1 dependent visa.
Please can you clarify?

Sushdmehta, many thanks.

In the link that you provided, one of your posts states that applicant has to be a work permit dependent. The visa type on my passport says 'visa to acc spouse/cp'

Is set(o) still the valid application?

My response is based on your statement that you are in the UK as a WP dependant. I do not know what endorsement is given when someone is granted entry clearance as a WP dependant.
