biometrics not being received by UKBA from post office

Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem as we are.

My husband has attended the post office 3 times to provide his biometrics. The barcodes are accepted by the post office - so there is no problem there, but we keep getting letters from the UKBA stating that we have not attended appointments to provide our biometrics. I have sent countless letters to the UKBA attaching all our receipts etc. from the post office to prove that we have done what they have asked, but according to the very unhelpful lady on the phone at the UKBA "it is my problem not theirs and i will have to keep attending until they receive the biometrics"!! I have spoken to the post office and they say it gets sent off straight away by email to the UKBA, and there is no reason why they should not have received it.

Its costing us a £20 each time to attend the post office, and we are having to travel quite far to get to a post office that offer the biometric service. its getting very frustrating having to deal with the UKBA as they are not interested, they do not want to help us resolve this matter. Our worry is that they will invalidate our visa application, through no fault of our own, and we cannot afford to pay again!

I am awaiting a response about my complaint.

Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem? If so, has it been sorted and how did you get it sorted with the UBKA? How long did it take?
