Dependant Visa (Tier 2)

Post by pshahani » Tue Nov 27, 2012 3:57 pm

Hi

I currently hold a sponsored tier 2 visa valid until Dec 2013. My wife is currently on a PSW expiring in Feb 2013. I have a few questions on how she can become a dependant and come onto my visa. We both hold Indian passports. Many thanks in advance for your help.

1. Does she need to apply from India or can she apply from within the UK (London)?
2. What is the typical processing time?
3. What are the visa fees?
4. Is it advisable to go through a lawyer / agent to get this done? I dont mind paying the service fees if the process is greatly simplified and reduces the processing time.

Thanks
