Canadian citizenship & passport for baby born in UK

Post by jainsumeet » Tue Nov 27, 2012 7:09 pm

I am a Canadian citizen residing in Edinburgh. Our son was born 3-weeks back. I know that to get him a Canadian passport, I need to first get him Canadian citizenship. Does anyone have any experience in applying for this via the High Commission in London? How long did it take? The website says up to a year. But that seems implausible.

Best wishes,

Sumeet
