Re Financial Requirement under the new rules (FLR-M)

Post by rajaiizahir » Tue Nov 27, 2012 10:36 pm

Hello,

I shall soon apply for dependent visa on FLR(M) under the new rules. As per the rules I can choose one of the seven catagories. I would like to choose catagory B which needs me to show that I have been maitaining the requisite income level in the last 12 months prior to the point of application. Now both me and my wife are working. My wife is working for more than 12 months and I am for 8 months.

Can anyone tell me if 12 months wage slip of my wife alone will be sufficient? We both however meet the financial requirement by combining my 8-months income and my wife's 12-months income.

Hi Sabih,

Thank you very much for the reply. Yes, I also thought in that line. 12-months is possibly the time limit and you cannot use the pay-slip older than this 12-months period but within 12-months there is no limit on the number of months. It could be 4,5,6 whatever as long as it is required for reaching the income threshold. Am I correct?
