UTR Number Original Document

I received a Original UTR Number Document, when I first registered for self employment. I submitted that for my initial Tier 1 General visa. I received all other documents back except this document.

Is this the case with everyone?

Am trading on self employment ever since, now I have to apply for my extension, is the original document mandatory or the UTR number on Accountants letters will Suffice.

Please advise friends.
