Delayed application due to reissue of COS

Hi

my company had given me a COS with a wrong SOC code and i had to ask them to reissue it again with the correct code but i got the new COS after 9 day of my visa expire i applied the same day by post and i have also done my bio metrics few weeks back just wanted to check if there is any change of refusal by home office i am switch from PSW visa to tire 2 general

please help !!

As it was less than 28 days this shouldn't be a problem in terms of the getting refused.

However as the application was submitted after your visa expired you are not currently entitled to work as 'out of time' applications such as yours do not extend the terms of your previous visa.

thanks jeeves i am not working currently and waiting for the decisions from the home office. i have heard that they can reject the application for small mistaken meaning spelling mistake and stuff ,if the visa has expired is there any true to this
