hi all please i need help as i am in process of filling form 9 for my under 18 child for naturalisation there is a leaflet to read before filling out the form which say that declaration made by father on behalf of child to be witnessed by an approved witness what does it means because on the form where is the declaration there is nothing like that for witness that is so confusing to me because they said that if the form is not fully comleted or the certified document are not attached we will return the application and will not refund the fee which is 175 euros and i have to pay the fee again please help me thanks[quote][/quote]

Hi
I am in same boat as you are and have seen this apparent contradiction in the form. Have asked from couple of my friends who recently applied and they have told me that they just signed the application and submitted it. The only thing they certified from solicitor is the birth certificates.
Let me know if you have called/ mailed citizenship section and what they have told you. I intend to only sign and send the applications.
