Can my wife apply for BC after two years on FLR(M)?

Post by zeezee0 » Sat Dec 01, 2012 4:03 am

Hello All,

Could someone please confirm whether the paragraph below is correct?

Me & my wife have been married & been living together for over two years now. My question is that under the 2 year spouse rule, does my wife qualify for British citizenship if I have (ILR) & my wife receives her (FLR) M??

Thanks

No.
One cannot naturalise as a British citizen without being granted settled status.
