Hi...
I have searched this board and not found any similar queries so I thought I would post this one. This is my situation:
18/5/12 - applied for Returning Resident status
11/6/12 - application rejected - appeal filed w/in 28 days
17/10/12 - oral hearing before immigration tribunal scheduled
16/10/12 - presenting officer for HO withdraws original decision, saying barrister's argument for my RR was correct in law, hearing canceled, PO returns papers to NY UKBA w/instructions to re-issue decision
as of 1/12/12 - STILL WAITING...no word
Is there an average waiting time for re-issued decisions/papers post-appeal? We thought it would only be a few weeks, but now I'm wondering if 'months' is the operative word?
Any relevant experience others have would be most welcome to hear.
Thank you!
