falling short basic salary criteria accordint to soc code

Post by skiwalker » Sun Dec 02, 2012 9:19 pm

I recently have completed my 5 years as a work permit holder, so i booked myself and 2 dependents an appointment at Liverpool PEO. Thinking its a straight forward application I went there on 21 nov 2012. I was told that my application will be refused because i don't meet the salary criteria. So the case worker told me either i can leave my appilcation and they will refuse it and send me my documents at a later date, or I can withdraw my application and work on my problem and apply again, Which I did. Since then I have gone back to my employer and they have given me a pay rise just above the SOC code salary criteria. Which is effective from 1 dec 2012 and i have obtained refernce letter from my employer confirming this, but my problem is that i will not have a payslip or that raised pay going into my account by 19th dec 2012 and visa expires on 10 dec 2012.
can somebody please help that the letter from my employer is sufficient or would i need anything else.
Thanks
