Hello All,
I have a few questions regarding the material which I am sending to the UK embassy in India to apply for my wife's dependent visa. Please note that I am in the UK at the moment with an Tier 1 visa and my wife is in India applying for the dependent visa.
1) 6 month bank statements - I am sending my original online statements. Do these need to be signed/stamped by the bank here?
2) 6 month salary statements
3) Letter from my Employer to confirm my job and salary
4) Copy of my Passport and Visa - I cannot send my original passport as I am in the UK right now.
5) Wedding Card and pictures
6) Marriage Certificate
7) Tenancy Agreement - Do I need to send the original tenancy agreement. I live in a 2 bedroom flat which is under my name only. Do I need a NOC from my agent/landlord specifically to allow my wife to live in the flat with me?
Do I need to send any Bill? Council or telephone as proof of address?
9) Do I need to send any proof of communication with my wife before the wedding? something like emails, telephone bill showing the numbers called, etc.?
10) Copy of my National Insurance Card - original or scanned?
Everyone tells me one or two different things but I understand that there is no advantage of sending too many documents which are not necessarily required. In fact by sending too many documents, the process gets delayed. So please can someone confirm the list of documents which I am sending and if there is something I dont need to send.
Much appreciated.
