How does time for BC apply when I have got PRC?

Hi Guys:
I need an answer,please.
I have got PRC in Jan 2010. I Have got a fine in court for driving while on provisional licence. Fine was given by court in August 2010 £650 plus 6 point."Please do not ask it was a horrible experience and I had an emergency on that day, I know no excuses".
Because of this I could not apply for BC in Jan2011.
My questions are:
1. Will I have to wait until 2015 to apply for BC? Am I right?
2. Does the time to apply for BC counts again from 2010 to 2015? for 5 years ? so it means
3. I can not go out for more than 450 days in this 5 years? I really need to travel to look after my mum who is very ill and it wont take less than 5 months. I have already been with her 5 months but I urgently need to go back.
4. Or Can I go out for 2 years as I have my PRC and back to apply for BC?
Any answer will be helpful. And appreciated.
