ILR- Dependant

Post by splashing » Mon Dec 03, 2012 9:33 pm

Hi,
Hi,
I am on HSMP and Tier 1 (General) Visa since Jan 2008. I am eligible to apply for ILR in January 2013. My Husband came to the UK in July 2011 as Tier 1 General Dependant (less than 2 years) .

I am applying for ILR in January 2013 and just wanted to clarify if I can add my husband in same application form SET (O) and apply as dependant of ILR with me?

Could some one please confirm if I can apply for ILR with husband using form SET (O) or if my husband has to fill another form.

I have already booked a date at Solihuil for just myself.

Please help a needy sister with information.

thanks[/i]

If your husband's current visa has enough time left to complete his 2 years even after you getting ILR, he can continue on his current visa until he is ready to apply for his own ILR.

With your upcoming application, you cannot include him because he has not completed 2 yrs.
