Bank Statement for ILR

Post by Khadar » Tue Dec 04, 2012 2:39 am

Dear All,
My wife is to apply for ILR this Wednesday.I am a British citizen by naturalization and I sponsored her two years ago.We have put together all the necessary items/evidence asked in the application.
I currently work part time and she also works full time. Our total weekly income of £ 370 pound. However, I am always in overdraft and my bank statement is full of OD(overdraft) initials. We want to submit our joint bank statement through which she gets her pay and we also got some savings there. But does enclosing my always overdraft bank statement negatively affect our application?

PLEASE,I would very much appreciate if anyone could help.

As long as I know SET(M) do not have to meet any financial maintenance threshold.

I do not see any reason why should there be a problem with overdraft transactions in your bank statements. As long as your pay is reflected in your statements, it should be fine.
