General visit. Do they actually want to stay a full six months, because that is not a problem in the general visitor category if they have their own means of support and will be relying on your benevolence?

"so can they apply for 6 months visa?"

You asked if they could apply for a six month visa and I wanted to know if that was because they wished to stay for six months. If they have good ties to their homeland and you have sufficient funds to cover their trip, a visit of two months should not be a problem. One must assume they are not working if they can get away for two months; how do they generally support themselves?

Father is a retired teacher and recieve pension to cover there living expenses. both are not working. They just want to visit us for 2 months. we bare the expences for their entire visit.
bonds------they have 3 children(all are independent) in back home. they have one property and little amount of savings other than father's monthly pension.....tnx
