Visa Issue date

Hi,

I am applying for my T1 General extension, one of the question I have to fill up on the application form is the previous visa issue date.

I had submitted visa application @ VFS centre in India on 24/09/2010 but had requested the visa start date as 01/01/2010. On my visa start date is 01/01/2010 .
what is the start date i should consider ?

The actual date on the visa.

Thanks for your response.

Only dilemma is that after Dec 2010 the Tier 1 visa from out of UK was closed. My start date is 01/01/2011 but will not that sound bit conflicting ?
