PBS Tier 1 Dependant Visa Documents got some confusion

Post by Pratikshah2008 » Thu Dec 06, 2012 5:33 pm

I am applying visa for my wife next week ,I got documents as listed below

Dependant Documents :

Application Form
main applicant self attested Passports copy
Marriage certificate
Bank Joint account passbook(Include my joint name )
PAN Card (Include my joint name )
Driving License (Include my joint name )
Photos we had been together

From Sponsor
3 Months bank statements
6 Months Pay slips
Sponsor’s Invite letter
Sponsor’s Passport copy
Sponsor’s Work Contract
Sponsor’s proof of address (Rental Agreement)
Sponsor’s Estate agent NOC
12 Months Phone Bills (Including SMS, International calling number services details)

Recently I have seen some post that visa got rejected because of lace of evidence to prove the marriage as I haven't done any traditional indian wedding ceremony so I haven't got photograph or invitation card with me to include in the application but I have got some photographs to gather from last 2 years but not sure should I include those photos or should I mention on the covering latter that I haven't done any wedding ceremony so haven't got photos or invitation on the visa covering letter ?

Got different view from friends till now so couldn't make any decision till now and I have to apply visa next week so I would really appreciate your help if you could give me some advised on this matter .

Thanks for your help in advanced.

My view is - wedding pics /invitation-card etc are mostly for 'just now' married couple caz of sham marriages etc.

It is not must to have just them as evidence.
If you got pics together. Call records. Chatting history etc.
It shall all be fine.

If large volume of printout looks stupid (e.g. chat history), dump in a CD and submit.
I don't think a case-worker will care for chat messages but probably gives 'confidence' to case worker.

whatever, it is. Just submit, give the poor case worker lil illusion.
