Team application query

HI, I applied for Tier 1 Entrepreneur with my friend, we both showed a joint statement.
We applied in Oct , my friends passport expires in feb and he got new passport. My question is should he send his new passport now to UKBA ? If yes, Do i need to send any additional letter as i mentioned his passport no which will expire in Feb?

Also can someone pls tell if team application is treated together or seperate ? If one does not secure points for some reason will other be effected ?

Keep hold of the new passport and simply carry the old passport around with the new one. You can apply for a transfer of conditions but there is really no need if you hold onto the previous passport.

Why do you think one of you will get points and the other will not? There may be general grounds for refusal (bad immigration history) but points are based on Money, English test and personal maintenance. So, assuming you have both covered your bases with regard to the capital sum, the only issue would be the two other conditions. Has your partner indicated he has some problems with this?

My question was that we both me and my entrepreneur team member applied for visa.but we are still waiting , his passport which he sent with the application expires in Feb 2013 and he got a new passport now. He is thinking to send his new passport as well to UKBA. Do i need to send any additional letter as i mentioned his existing passport no on my application

and 2nd question was basically to confirm that if one person meets all the point will they issue visa or will they check the team member application and as well to decide
