Tier 2 Dependant Visa and Maternity leave

Post by Bastian23 » Wed Dec 12, 2012 3:50 pm

I am on a Tier 2 Dependant Visa since March 2010. I have been on Maternity leave from June 2011- March 2012 and received SMP for this period. Currently unemployed. During my maternity leave I have been outside the Uk for 90 days. Big question is: Does this 90 days count for total days outside of UK while on maternity leave when we apply for ILR? My husband has a workpermit and has been outside of UK for only 34 days since 2010.

I really want to travel again, but afraid that I will be spending to much time outside UK. Days outside UK on dependant visa: 156 days.

Regards
