£50,000 and not having any intial visa ?

Hi all,

A relative of mine (outside the UK) has £50,000 in cash and wants to invest it in the country in a business. He has never been granted any points-based visa and has been only here on visit visas.

Is he eligible?

I am asking because the impression from policy guidance is that the funds should be from a funding body rather than cash only if the person has not been granted PSW or Graduate Entrepreneur visa !

Anyone one wants to apply for tier1 ENT he needs invest of £200K

Any one applying for T1-Entrepreneur can apply but with £50K if he has secured this through the funding organisations mentioned.
If one is using his/her own money then the funds required are £200K.

£50,000 is only for psw visa as he is applying out of country so £200,000 needed.
