Extension for spouse

Hi
I am a British citizen , got married from Pakistan in 2011.My wife got visa in January 2011.Because of her studies she could not come to the UK till Feb 2012 means she came here 13 months late.
Her visa is expiring in Apr 2013.
I just wanted to know what are the requirements for extension and then for ILR ?

Your wife will have to apply to extend on form FLR(M). She will have to pass the A1 English test before submitting the application.
