Switching from tier1 to EEA family permit & ILR!??

Post by eeatier1 » Sat Dec 15, 2012 1:24 pm

Hello Everyone,

My friendly recently got married to an EEA national. she is currently on Tier1G & qualify to apply for ILR in 5 months time at her own merit i.e she has enough points etc.

Her question is if she switches from Tier1G to EEA family permit, will she still be able to apply for ILR after 5 months or not?

or will this not be possible as switching to EEA family permit will mean that she completed the continuous residence of 5 years requirement in 2 separate categories?

please advise..... Thanks
