Certified Copy

After reading some posts, it looks like that some people submit the certified copies for their passports or some other supporting document. Does anyone here know which document I need to submit the certified copies instead of regular copies ?

I will submit the orginal document for the following:
Passport, bank statements and offical land and titlt registration.
