Requirement to stamp visa on Passport? one sided blank page

My Passport has few one sided blank pages left,is it acceptable for visa stamp? or Visa stamp requires page blank on both sides??

when you get your tier 1 extension you will not get any stamping on the passport but you will get a biometric resident permit. its a smart card with your biographic and geographic information.

What about my Spouse, she (dependent) has two kids (dependents) endorsed on her passport.. My three dependents will also get bio metric card or they will get visas stamped?

Q1. If my spouse will get visa stamped, how many empty pages required on Passport and if those pages should be blank one side or blank both sides?

Q2. If visa wil not be stamped for anyone of us and we will get biomertic card then it does not matter if we have any blank page or not, Right?
