ILR on basis of Tier1 General

Post by LostEmperor » Mon Dec 17, 2012 3:45 pm

Hi all,

Quick history:

- I got work permit on 15/01/2008
- Moved to Tier 1 on 30/03/2011
- Completing my 5 years on work visa on 14th Jan 2013
- I'm applying for ILR on 28th Dec 2012

Since I'm applying for ILR on basis of Tier-1 but I'm slightly confused about the new rules that came on 13 dec 2012.

I have spend days outside the country related to my work. So my question is if I provide a letter from employer just with dates that I spent outside UK for work, would it be ok?? or they want something more than that.

Thanks.

You haven't said how many days? However, this document should answer most of your questions and is reliable.
