New ILR application query

Post by jaykishan » Tue Dec 18, 2012 1:33 pm

Hi Guys,

i have a query regarding the new ILR application - section below -

i hold a teir 1 visa i will be eligible to apply ILR from dec 22nd , i have been out side uk 178 days include the day of travel and landing.

the new section below says that i need to provide evidence, all my holidays are paid holidays and i have a letter from HR stating a line in the employer letter that

"all the holidays are paid"

but i cant tick any one of the boxes below as they don't match my criteria, do i need to tick "other" box or leave this field empty ?

6.3 What evidence has been provided to support the reasons for all absences from the UK?

> Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK?
> Letter from applicant detailing reasons for absence due to compelling or compassionate reasons
> Original official documents: (medical/birth/death certificate(s))
> Letter from travel companies to evidence disruption to travel
> Other

Kind regards,
Jay

If i am correct...
It's not an compulsory requirement........

Tier 1 holders don't need letter...........but better let one of the senior members confirm this..............
