Wuyiibisomi Question

Post by wuyiibisomi » Tue Dec 18, 2012 1:14 pm

Myself as a prospective EEA FP applicant , thanks to this forum is now aware about making my future application as simple as possible.

I do have one question : I have been married to my EEA Wife for about 21 months. we have been previously living together prior to our Marriage ,and we have a 17 months old Daughter together. But she was previously married and had a Divorce go through Ocotber 2010 , Before we eventualy got Married(She had been seperated from ex Husband 5 years before official Divorce). Her Divorce went through with ease without ex partner contesting ,As they never meet again after seperation.

I would like to seek advice, if her Divorce paper confirmation needs to be added to the documents to be provided for my EEA Family Permit .Our Marriage certificate dates 29-03-2010 .We already got an Extract (Approved with seal) from my Wife's country Population Register stating her Marital status with the date of our Marriage , And also stating my full details below as her spouse . But on the Marriage certificate it is stated that she has been previously married and got divorced before our Marriage.

I want ask from the more experienced on here .If the National population Register extract document together with our Marriage certificate, Passports, (Child's Birth Certificate )and letter from my spouse that we are travelling to the UK together would be enough to support my application ?

Or do I consider adding document that shows she was previously Divorced before we got married ?

Once again thank you guys for educating people like me more and more on this website.

I will be waiting for a response

Best Regards
Wuyi

I have split your post to a separate entry so that it may be answered by someone with more knowledge.

What exactly does the application form ask for?

Do you have lots of time? If so you can apply with just the marriage certificate and see what happens.

Directive ,
Thanks for your response .Actually the application asks for the Marriage certificate. I have also backed it up with extract from National Population Registry database .Showing that we are both married and the date we got married. My bit of concern is that we got married outside the EU. I have read about cases on gere whereby people are been asked about proof of divorce from past Marriages. Though most seem to apply within months after getting married.

I'll just apply with the marriage certificate and what for their response.

Thanks for responding Directive
