Changes to the Immigration Rules come into effect on 13/12

I tried to print out the application form again today, and realized that there is a new form ready for download, and also read the changes to the rules which came into effect on 12 December. I am applying for spouse visa, and checked to see if there is any requirement changed, but I couldn't find anything. The only thing I can find is that "Minor changes to the child and parent routes to make them as clear and comprehensive as possible and changes to simplify the operation of the income threshold for sponsoring family migrants. "

Does anyone know if there is any changes for spouse visa and how the simplify the operation of the income threshold for sponsoring family migrants ? I couldn't see it anywhere.

Main changes for spouse is dropping of need for contract of employment and P60, however they have tightened the specifications for payslips.
