Spouse visa need help!

Hi,

I hope you guys can help me, I was married last year November and my wife was granted initial dependent visa in feb 2012 as tier1 general dependent.

I was granted my settlement in August 2012 and wife's visa is expiring in feb 2013, so my question is what type of visa she should apply. And shall I use flr(m) . What about maintained funds ( for how long I need to maintain and how much) and English exams. I am really confused..

I hope you guys help me on this.

If your wife completed 2 years with you in UK, you can apply ILR for her otherwise you need to apply FLR(M)

by maintained funds do you mean maintenance requirements? you need LIUK test.

thanks for replies guys, its more confusing now because i read in one of threads that i should apply for pbs dependent and show maintaince funds for three months (£1800) because she came to the country in march 2012 and her visa expiring on feb 2013. Problem is i dont have three months time for showing funds..

what should i do please help..

by maintained funds do you mean maintenance requirements? you need LIUK test.

you don't need the life in the UK test for an application for further leave to remain, only for settlement.
