Switching from ICT Tier2 Short Term to ICT Tier2 Long Term

Hi,

I have ICT Tier2 Short Term visa. Can I apply for ICT Tier2 Long Term visa from within UK? or shoukd I leave UK to apply new visa? My visa expires by march 2013.

you have to leave the UK and apply from your home country
