URGENT Please: Main Applicant is NOT sole Surviving Parent.

Post by Anshara » Sat Dec 22, 2012 12:58 pm

Hello,

I am currently in UK as student. I am planning to switch as Dependent of Tier -1 (PSW Applicant). Recently we have married in UK and I am planning to go back home and apply from there. ( we have evidence that we stayed together more then 18 months in UK and we also had in a relationship since 4 years.

BUT I have a child under 18 years old and I am the one is sole responsible for the child. And I have document from court as evidence. And when I came as student in UK they had granted visa with that court paper of sole responsible.. .. that was not any problem.

The Query is as the Main Applicant is NOT sole responsible for my child in court documents!!!

***does it effect if my child to be as dependent of my husband (the Main Applicant)???
*** Which Application form my child would fill in?!
*** What about maintenance fund would be in my bank acc or the main applicant?!!
*** Relevant issues in this regard!!

but we stayed together more then 18 months in UK together, both we were responsible as parent or Guardian at my child's school.

Looking for advice regarding this issue urgently please !!!

If you dont have documents that show you are the sole responsible you should get a written consent letter from your ex-spouse. Your child should fill the Tier 1 Dependent form.
