accomodation for sponsoring parent

Post by jubayer2001asm » Tue Dec 25, 2012 1:59 am

Hi,
I am a british citizen living in the uk. I want to sponsor my mother from bangladesh for visit purposes for 6 months. I am just wondering wheather its ok for me to sponsor her as i am living in a property of 1bedroom, 1 living room, k.itchen and toilets which i own by myself. Its me and my wife living with 2months old daughter. Please could u give me an advice if the property is ok to sponsor her or i have to rent a bigger property.
I look forward to hear from u soon.
Thanx.

In theory , yes you can. You, your wife and baby can share the bedroom and your mum use the living room ( providing both rooms are big enough)

Hi. Thanx 4 the reply. Did u actually mean its not worth making an application under this accomodation facility? It sounds like i can apply in theory but in practice there is a chance of refusal!!
If the relevent documentation is strong, is it still depends on ECO discretion?
Thanx
