Paying for postal application - Trader name, Visa debit card

Post by pt100 » Tue Dec 25, 2012 4:29 pm

Hello all,

Can anyone please advise the trader name that appears on bills and card statements once the application fee is taken. I was hoping to advise my bank with that information (and hence avoid rejected payments).

Also, can I use my Visa debit card for payment: the Tier 1 (G) application form advises that payments will be accepted from MasterCard, Visa and Amex credit cards, and Delta and Maestro debit cards. (Does not list Visa debit cards.) The website says Visa debit cards are acceptable.

I look forward to your advice.

Thanks,

Prashant

card payment for postal applications is not recommendable as if the payment doesnt go through, application will be invalid & returned by which time your leave may have expired bladi bladi bla

use bank draft which is a guaranteed form of payment
