Hi,

Thanks for compiling FAQs for ILR - WP/Tier 2/HSMP/Tier 1. I need further clarification regarding answer to Q12. You have stated that qualifying period is for 2years for whom initial application for PBS dependent was made before 9-Jul-12.

Section 319E(d) mention about having the leave continuous since then. My question is related to the word 'continuous'. My understanding is, it means without any break in leave to remain and extension of leave granted after 9-Jul-12 does not change the status. So if my dependant has been granted extension of leave to remain after 9-Jul-12, she still need to complete only 2 years and not 5 years for ILR.

Please confirm if my understanding is correct.
