TIER 1 (General) -Funds requirement for dependents

Post by kash5 » Thu Dec 27, 2012 11:52 pm

Hello

I have been on Tier 1 General visa since July 2010 and I have been in UK for 8 years. I want to apply for entry clearance visa for my wife and a daughter. How much funds do I need to maintain according to recent requirements. I have read policy guidance but not sure which one I fall into as the statement there is slightly confusing when it says following

Dependents of Tier 1 applicants who have been in the UK for less than 12 months. £1800

Dependents of Tier 1 applicants - all other applications...£600

In above statements are they referring to dependent OR main applicant who should have been in UK for less than or more than 12 months.

please help

cheers
kash

if you are in UK over 12 months, as you just mention you need

900 + 600 + 600

would suggest just keep 2500 on safe side for 3 months and you will be OK.

Hey Askhan, I understand that these funds should be owned by the main applicant.
